Pat founded Patricia Davenport Consulting in 2002 and continues to oversee the firm.
Pat began her work as an educational consultant for APQC in Houston, Texas and continues to provide process training seminars for APQC.
Her focus is to support districts in their efforts to achieve systemic change through the PDCA Instructional Cycle process and design training, data disaggregation, and the integration of quality tools and Effective Schools Research.
Prior to becoming an educational consultant, Pat was a key leader of a dramatic change initiative to close the gap in student achievement at Brazosport ISD in Freeport, Texas. Brazosport was able to not only prove that all students can learn but also win the Texas Quality Award, the first school district to earn that distinction. The school district was also the largest rated exemplary district in the state in 1997-1998 and 1998-1999.
