Our Mission & Philosophy

Davenport Consulting was founded with the objective to implement a simple but effective process of continued improvement across our nation's schools.

Our Philosophy is based on Effective School Research, Total Quality Management principles, and a Plan-Do-Check-Act continuous improvement model (8-Step Process) that when implemented successfully raises standardized test scores and closes the gap in student achievement.

Unlike other turn-around models calling for school closures and the firing of existing staff, proponents of the Plan-Do-Check-Act Instructional Process believe that with the right tools, school leaders and teachers can produce different results.
